      ebay?

So if you buy Bilsteins on ebay are they still crap? About the non-stick oil - there was a test in Road and Track years ago with the LeMans Porsche and Tim Richmond's NASCAR Monte Carlo. Richmond outran the Porsche in top speed on a six mile long circle track at the GM proving grounds in Ohio. Before the car went out for it's last run, they used a case of silicon spray cans on the car - even underneath. It went faster topping out at 236 MPH. People wax surf boards and skis for the same reason. Or is just to make them look shiny? Speaking of budget beaters, remember Alan Kulwicki. Ever know a guy with a really top dollar car always going out on new tires and getting outran by guys buying his take-offs? Lighten up. It's beginning to sound like everyone is advocating megabucks.

no we're advocating not being a moron. If you read the whole thread, you'll be introduced to a world of stupid claims with little to no data backing up the claims.

Plus its fun to remind this guy he has zero credibility...

Waxing my skiis hardly changes how they go through the air. All it does is allow the to glide smoothly over snow.

After this, 14 shy of the 500 post mark...best thread ever

ebay has some great stuff. my $5 M tech spoiler for one!! But the point, yet again, is how to throw ebay junk, and other items, on a car with no thought as to....
              a plan a result a reason a baseline
If he had done all this is a "this is broken/old/worn/low power, so I did this, and it accomplished this" manner, I would probably like it. But the hit or miss style doesn't help me, so there is not value here. Other than putting out his candle so mine burns brighter. He get public fellation on BF.C all the time. So I just help to balance that. And, I wanna keep tabs on this future parts car...

Oh, and the oil thing....I'm gonna go with it was a joke.

                Update: Exhaust done

hey guys. I finally installed the high flow 200 cell cat today and the 22" magnaflow resonator. The different even over ebay resonators and 400 cell cat is definitely a substantial difference. The resonance is reduced by a good 30-50% and the car feels much peppier and power kicks in early and pulls harder on the top end. The sound is even better on top end but low end is more tame and smooth sounding. Now it just sounds like a very clean agressive exhaust versus a straight-piped race car. I think a perfect combo for the street would be a magnaflow 22" resonator + one of those magnaflow universal all-in-one units. I will try and get sound bytes soon and also finally the car is dyno ready for all the $50 mods. I'll have more updates soon.

I am very impressed with the magnaflow 22" resonator, honestly its the only real resonator that does anything, those 10" long ones like ebay ones and those "test-pipes" and even to some extent the $$ Aero Turbine, just do not have the resonance muffling capacity of the Magnaflow. I will do one more quick mod tomorrow or the next day and then going to the dragstrip this friday hopefully (if not next friday) to get some 1/4 mile times then a dyno. once i get teh dyno then i can really start to go nuts. these $50 mods are really limiting my modding potential (needless to say :) ) . Anyways lotta updates coming soon.

I think your butt dyno needs calibration.

once u see the results u may change your mind :) , are u afraid that this budget beater may put down better numbers than your car while spending 1/4th what u paid for the similar gains? :)

I'm going to be impressed if your car ever makes stock M20B25 figures!

Find Bubba who lives in the same projects as you, and he can take care of your calibration

Seeing as we've been asking for "results" for 6 months, and you've produced fucking nothing, I think we're gonna keep waiting.

I'm willing to bet my stock M20, which I have spent approximately $0 on in 9 years in terms of "performance" mods will probably put down better numbers.
