LOL! That is soooo slow. My car when it was stock, and automatic (2,800lbs), and let me say it again, AUTOMATIC, ran a 16.2 @ 87mph!

no crap lol , its kinda hard to get a good time when theres too much power and too little weight on rear and you are at tucson's altitude. if i can figure out how to get traction in 1st & 2nd gear it would help out tons. I may end up going back to 3.73LSD instead of 4.10 b/c i just can't get traction at all in 1st & 2nd. Any ideas on how to reduce wheel hop so i can get traction? I already have 215's all around but that still isn't enough. I know these aren't drag cars but still traction would be nice so i could do a decent run wihtout smoking tires all the way down the track lol .

FYI heres the full post, people chopped it up not posting hte whole thing..

"Its not even worth posting my slip b/c i can't get traction in 1st and 2nd gear. That and tucson altitude @ 2500feet makes for pretty bad numbers. Best I could run was a 15.926 @ 87.44mph with 2.408 60-foot time. By comparison 2000 E55 ran a best time of 14.56 and they should be running low 13's. if i had traction the times would be drastically better, but the wheel hop goes all the way through top of 2nd gear. Hopefully i can get better times next time but this was the first time I was dragging in a E30 so it was definitely a good experience."

Getting traction is just too hard and wheel hop is pretty bad in a car this light. I will have to sort out traction but i already have 215's and its still not gripping. I plan on doing more weight reduction off the front to get the balance closer back to 50/50, sunroof delete will be a nice addition. Stock exhaust manifolds and stock intake manifold are super heavy so i may get the first set of the Supersprint header replica's once they are availible and do dyno comparison. They are still in developement but should be arriving soon.

Your project IS pathetic. You don't have too much power, you don't even have stock 325i power!

too much power? if you have so much power why did you cut off the #s on your dyno sheet?

Here are updated pics of the interior, Lexan door panels coming soon. Got the AC snitzer floor mats for $35 shipped just b/c i dont like having bare metal floors, cabin echos too much but still not a bad price for decent mats that dont slide around b/c of rubber bottoms (unlike stock mats which slide a lot).
