I suggest you steam clean, or at least engine foam the engine, then pick up some UV additive and a black light or UV flashlight and run the car for a short while, then look for where the color is, or have your pro painter/mechanic replace every seal/gasket. Your choice. I know you won't listen, so maybe just go to the auto parts store, make a wild guess and buy one random seal for your m20, and go with that.

The additive is a one oz bottle you pour in the oil fill cap, that place where you put that expensive Royal Purple. The lightbulb, you put in a cheap clamp on lamp, the most expensive tool in this whole procedure is your eyeballs.
