Go to PepBoys, spray can, orange cap, called Engine Brite. Or, just ask for a similar product.

Well im dropping my e30 off tomorrow, because of the oil leak and horrible vibration and noises coming from underneath the car. Was told it was the pilot bearing. I have some pics of where its coming from. the assembly connected to the oil filter. and the gasket that was just changed has a crack.

It was the oil filter housing, the thing with mine was it would just keep dripping. It would not stop, im glad i got it fixed though. Had to clean it up everyday!

                      1. jb weld doesnt play well with oil, clean the surface so that there is 0 residue.
                      2. it takes 6 hours for jb weld to set

nothing will work the way you're trying to do it.

best option: get a new pan
ok option: take that pan off, empty, clean, dry, weld
temporary fix option: take that pan off, empty, clean, dry, apply, let cure

do it right, do it once applies here
