    Oh trust me, I know. And then sometimes there's a numbskull behind the wheel who isn't you. <---- That's what happened to me in the e30. I've smashed other cars myself but my e30 was my friend. He's a drummer so I guess you could chalk it up to that...;)

            any one have a pic of the tranny skid plate? i might have one on my car but don't know if the e30 came like that stock or if it's the actual skid plate.

              any updates? anyone actually gone out ane made one? how did it come out how labor intensive was it how much were the materials and where to get?
              thanks id like to know bc im soon to replace my destroyed oil pan and would like to lower the potential of it happening again

                the one i posted a picture of came to 150$ canadian, installed and painted.
                so that should give you a good idea of what to pay.

                  My car has one. I don't have any pics of it though. I assumed most e30s had one untill I put my car on the lift and my boss was suprised to see it. Apparantly, most are missing.

                    Not missing just not added. I stand firm BMW should not have allowed them out of the factory without them, or with a different design.

                        look up mother goose customs in the phone book. i forget the guys name, but he works out of langley. i can show you the shop, if we go together it will probably be cheaper. however hes kinda slow with work... took like 2 weeks to get made, but for the price hes the cheapest, and his quality is awsome. we'll talk about it on msn later..
