Ok, I replaced the m/c with a new 750, 25mm one, with the corresponding new line to the abs block. Bled the system with a buddy who races Pro3. No different. Pedal even feels soft to me, compared to what I have heard about the 25mm m/c.
The car brakes, but doesn't bite hard enough to activate the abs in the dry, and is not remotely as good as my e30 cab was.
History.
Calipers were rebuilt, but the rubber guides and pins were not replaced.
New Zimmerman drilled rotors on all four corners
Goodridge SS lines, all 6
Ate type 200 fluid
Booster did not have any fluid in it when I change the m/c.
Bleeds easily at all calipers, so no plugged lines.
Help!
Yes.

Hawk HPS for the E30 are absolutely terrible. I had similar problems - no bite, mushy pedal, couldn't lock them up to save my life.. bled the system twice, new MC, etc. etc.
all that, and it was the Hawk HPS. I ended up going back to Pagid OE pads and ATE powerdisks - a great street setup.
I looked back in a thread from when I re did the brakes, and the pictures showed PBR ceramic. It's the pads that come in the Turner, Zimmerman kit. I have since swapped the rears to oe e46 325 pads(same shape, little more pad) and the fronts back to whatever came when I bought the car........textar I think.
Are the HPS on the m3 just as bad?

yeah, they are horrid. they're useless on the track (their peak operating temp range is way too narrow, you'll melt them in 4 laps at mission raceway) and they warm up too slow on the street, especially in the PNW. I had two sets of them and they were the same both times.
My wife was terrified to drive my car with them, and everything was brand new. I'll leave it at that. :p

i dont agree, i have ran only hawk HPS on my e30 m3 suspension/brake setup and love them. SSchin(e30 m3 setup) is also running HPS and has tracked his car a couple times and had no problems.

FRONT VALENCE IS ZENDER!!! STOP FILLING MY PM BOX PPL!!!
I wonder if they know what good brakes feel like...
When i switched back to pagids, i had instant solid pedal, actual cold bite, and can easily reach the abs threshhold. I was about ready to spend $500 on a brand new MC.
I can and have locked up my breaks on multiple occasions. Also I drive for a living, I have driven all kinds of vehicles in my day, my e30 by far has the best brakes out of all the cars I have owned. Also I'm running on IX booster/master cylinder with stock rubber brake lines(had 2/4 goodrich lines blow up.on me).

I used this same kit on my car, I can get the abs to kick on no problems in the dry.
Have you visually inspected all the hardlines as well? Mine had some rot on the topsides that we didn't see until we started pulling them out.

Just started my m3 up for the season, and got a quick reminder how shitty my brakes feel.
Fuck!
Help!
Notes.
Brakes have been shit since I bought the car (8years). Has had 4 different sets of pads, two sets of rotors, has new 25mm mc and hard line, calipers completely rebuilt including guides and bushings. Numerous flushes of fluid with ATE superblue or type 200, and also new SS braded lines to calipers.
Pedal is not soft on initial application, since I replaced he guides and bushings on the calipers. All calipers bleed fluid easily.
