Is my diff sitting correctly in the rear subframe tunnel?

Putting my rear subframe back together I notice the diff flange sits to the left and up in the subframe tunnel, is this normal?

It's so the u-joints have a slight angle in them. If they were completely straight they would wear in only one spot and would go bad real fast.

This. I was taught in my apprenticeship that ujoints are designed to work at small angles, a zero offset setup will destroy them fast so it's either create the misalignment through design or run a different driveshaft. The ujoints in an offset setup will still allow for variance in assembly unlike a more rigid coupling.

Thanks, its a DK20Q. I like it almost as much as my German made Ridgid F-60 vise.
