Thanks for that, I was sipping a soda, and as I read that.. I spit it all over the keyboad because I was laughing so hard.
Don't forget to add in stage 3 weight reduction and a set of super slick tires.

And dont forget to change your oil, it for some reason adds 10-50 HP to all cars

... and that Dinan head peice has been pretty much shot down by every reputable source.
Where are you getting these numbers from? M20B25's are 168 crank hp if they're running perfectly like new. The JC chip is only rated at +15 crank hp (again, if you're engine is running perfectly to benefit from the chip), and yes Dinan is pretty much full of shit. Don't waste your money on a 3.0L M20. The exact number of an M20's potential isn't important, because it's not cost effective. At least not when there's plenty of M/S50s around.

the general concencious is that if your gona build your car for power, dont bother with the m20. its been tuned from the factory pretty well so there isnt much more to do with it.

if u want more power get an m50/2 or s50/2.
(or whatever else u can ponder up to fit)

Don't forget the underdrive pulleys, they net you 15 hp too If you want to spend that much money building an M20 why don't you just buy a turboed m20?

yeah i knew id get shit for what ive said, and yes i know all of those wouldnt make 250, much less 266 or whatever i quoted it at. Just going off of what all the "companies" claim what there parts make. And if all those did add to 266, im sure we'd all be all over it.

For the money you spend pushing a N/A m20 to its limits, you could easily have dropped an M/S50 in the car. And still wind up with more power.

yah but with all the building and horse power and m20 would blow soo many cars out of the water!!! an m50 isnt that much faster than a m20 if you put them side by side, considering its a new motor with 2 cams and everything!
