    Gas leak but from where?

I picked up the passenger side of my cabrio and gas leaked out.

This is on the driver side above the gas tank.

Or the seam is rusted, you did not say how much fuel is approximately in the tank. DUH RIF LOL yeah seal on the pump. Gas doesn't defy gravity.

Cracked hose or bad seal. AutohausAZ was selling some Meyle fuel sender seals a while back that looked good but once installed and touched fuel they would swell up and ooze out.

I had same issue, it was leaking from the 4" hose connecting pump to hard lines. Remove the rear seat bottom, access plate to fuel pump and replace hose or tighten clamps. Hose is 5/16" ID and available from Autozone/Pepboys.
