Camshaft journal scoring - need advice

I found a set of s52 cams but they have some scoring. They have around 150k miles on them. Would you guys buy these if you were me? Are they bad?

The seller says that one of the marks does catch his fingernail a bit

I think the general rule is if you can feel it with your fingernail its too deep for use.

Others may chime in with their opinion.

it's not the end of the world and pretty common. As long as cam lobes are perfect and there are no raised edges on the journals, should be ok. if there are any raised edges, knock them of with some scothbrite, wash the cam, lube and install

              Thanks for the input everyone!

I think I may just go ahead and get them. The scoring doesn't seem that bad especially compared to most higher mileage m/s5x cams. Worst case scenario is I take them to a machine shop and have the journals polished.

I’ve ran cams with way more scoring than the ones pictured. Just think of the score in the journal as an extra oil way. As long as it’s below the surface of the journal it’s fine.
It’s not like the thing is going to snap in half.
