              You can get them working; but not by just changing the switch. I've seen one-touch upgrades at BavAuto for ~$50 each side.

                you can if you have the E36 control module, but frankly i'd go the bavauto route.

                  approx how much would the switches with the white base, connector, bezel, and wire be for two of em?

                  I haven't seen any that meet those specs on ebay. Haven't seen any parts e36's as of late...

                  Looks to be a fun swap! I'm thinking of doing it myself.

                      motors, regulators, wiring, switches, and I think some brackets for inside the door.

                            But I just did mine yesterday and the writeup was not needed. All you need is but connectors, dikes, and crimpers. Oh, and both brown wires coming off the E30 wiring go to the one brown E36 switch wire.
