And they sit just about flush with the console. Not to mention they look a hell of a lot better.

But I just did mine yesterday and the writeup was not needed. All you need is but connectors, dikes, and crimpers. Oh, and both brown wires coming off the E30 wiring go to the one brown E36 switch wire.
