haha.. wow. yeah, they have to be balanced. I had about 5 lbs shaved off mine, and the shop was bright enough to balance it.

and yes, you definitely need to follow the torque instructions for the clutch/flywheel!

yeah i follow my bentley quite closely
i got a tip from the bmw mechanic that pointed me to a new machine shop to go over the PP bolts very slowly, like 1/2 turn at a time to prevent warping

but the machine shop is gonna balance the flywheel and then the flywheel and PP together
