    Would BILSTEIN STRUT INSERT fit BOGE's

    Normally when you change your STRUTS, it is only the insert that gets changed right? Right now, I have BOGE's STRUTS. If I buy the Bilstein Touring insert, it should fit right?

    Youll need the gland nuts provided with the Bilstein Tourings, but yes.

        Recalling your past thread, I hope you're not planning to run Bilstein Touring shocks with lowering springs.

            I think you're confusing Bilstein tourings with the sports. The tourings are more of an oem type shock whereas the sports have a shortened shaft to accompany a lowering spring. Hope that helps

              no. they're just standard length bilstiens, probably about the same valving as factory shocks.

              and by struts, you have Boge inserts. the strut tube itself is a seperate peice that you put the strut insert into.

              don't most new shocks come with the gland nut? You pretty much have to destroy the old one to get it off since they tend to rust onto the strut.

                      I dunno.. I do know that my suspension is far stiffer than stock, but it might be the konis affecting that. I really doubt tourings are significantly stiffer than OEM, at least in the noticeable sense. they should last longer though.
