Normally when you change your STRUTS, it is only the insert that gets changed right? Right now, I have BOGE's STRUTS. If I buy the Bilstein Touring insert, it should fit right?
Would BILSTEIN STRUT INSERT fit BOGE's

no. they're just standard length bilstiens, probably about the same valving as factory shocks.Originally posted by BingM3Aren't the Bilstein touring struts shorter to complement the lowering springs?
and by struts, you have Boge inserts. the strut tube itself is a seperate peice that you put the strut insert into.
don't most new shocks come with the gland nut? You pretty much have to destroy the old one to get it off since they tend to rust onto the strut.Comment

which is pretty much the same ;)Originally posted by MystikalCorrection: Tourings have exactly 15% more gas pressure than stock. :D
I suppose if you want to keep the stock ride though, tourings would be a good bet.Comment

And how much stiffer are H&R sports than stock springs? 15...20%?Originally posted by nandowhich is pretty much the same ;)Originally posted by MystikalCorrection: Tourings have exactly 15% more gas pressure than stock. :D

I dunno.. I do know that my suspension is far stiffer than stock, but it might be the konis affecting that. I really doubt tourings are significantly stiffer than OEM, at least in the noticeable sense. they should last longer though.Comment
