Can i run spacers with 14" basketweaves?

If you have 195 width tires, you could probably run up to a 15mm spacer with those rims.

I'm interested in 5-6mm spacers because that is the spacers I would need for my 15" C's to run 225s, if I would want to.

Aren't the C's ET30? You could run 10mm spacers, or somewhere around 8-10 if they have a hubcentric lip.

ummm.... some spacers have a lip on them that can center the wheel.... but other wise just torque the wheels off of the ground and make sure to do it in a cross pattern, then the lugs will center the wheel

5mm and 8mm spacers are flat and don't have the raised collar that centers the wheel like the thicker 15mm and 20mm spacers have. Tightening the lugs with the wheel off the ground sometimes works decent (that's what i used to do when i used my 5mm spacers) but the lugbolts alone still don't do an adequate job of centering the wheel and you'll still get a shimmy. BTDT many times. This is the reason why BMW (and others) makes their wheels hubcentric; the lugs alone can't do it.

Yes they are. But 225s might be in the future, and I think only ET24-27 works with them.

But what does Bill run? ET22 with 225s and some rubbing/fender rolling.

Most likely I might run 8mm with 205/50 or 205/55.

i think it is safe to say every OEM wheel is hub centric to the vehicle it was designed for..... i believe i am using 10mm H&R trak spacers right now that have the raised colar

I have 10mm BBS hubcentrics that came with my RX's. Felt pretty dumb when I realized that they WON'T work with my baskets (the hub is too big on the spacers). :x

Oh and Rob, don't go lower than ET24 with 225's on our arches.

Does anyone know for sure what offset could be run with 195s and stock weaves?
I would seriously try to run 15 or 10s at least. ?

I might sell my 15" C's, just because I don't want to buy tires for them, and I like the handling on stock wheels enough. Which in that case, I'd try my best to make the 'weaves look cool.

It will fit with a 15mm spacer. I wish my 10's from my RX's worked with the weaves. :evil:
