There is a station in Santa Monica, Ca sells 102 octane for 5.47 a gallon!

I'll take one for the M42.

There's only one ECU # for M42's, correct?

EDIT: His website isn't working for me at the moment...just to see if anyone else is having this problem...and group buys are awesome

That's the one. You have a 380 ECU.

Well, things have strayed from the original topic, but whatever saves you guys money makes me happy.

            M42 (175 ECU) chips:
            e30Matt
            Rob
            M42Tecknik

Get it up to 5 and you can probably knock a good $25 off the price. $175USD shipped? :D

That would work very well for me! Someone move this to Group Buy, and people spread the word to M42-ers!

I haven't seen any specs, dyno charts, nothing for these chips. What makes them blow JimC out of the water?

Apparently the butt dyno is spectacular on these things. Anyone in NC got one?

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

Did you read at all? I'm saying a 93 octane version would, based on the obvious. An experienced tuner working with the headroom that the extra 2 points provide.

And I will dyno my car very, very soon. He's still getting the dyno up and running at the shop.

Jay, is he having your car dyno'ed back to back with the stock versus his chip? As we all know, stock HP varies like a mother.

                            I might be interested in a 93-octane 173.

                              For E30's? All ETA's and M42's I believe, plus 173 ECU 2.5's.

Yeah, I'm hoping to get the ball rolling soon. If all goes to plan, stock chip vs. 91 octane chip vs. 93 (or 94) octane chip.

Hey, you also want to use 19# injectors, a M30 AFM, and modded stock airbox, and have him burn a custom chip for that too???? 8) 93 Octane.
