Anyone ever fitted a hood-prop rod?

I used a sawed off broom handle for a while. worked fine.

I use a crocket bat. sit it on the intake manifold and have the mallet part on the heat sheilding crap on the hood..

Yup, we have those exact same things at the shop. Both are awesome to have around.

I'm always the guy on the tool truck buying those nifty "ill need it someday" items. Magnetic pickups and inspection mirrors fall into this group.
