To much carbon on my spark plugs after revving high....

I got a big problem, every time i redline line my engine couple times it starts to run very poorly and rough, i check the plugs and they got a shit load of carbon on them, so basiclly i gotta clean my fucking plugs alot. They are Bosch platnuims +2s. IF any of you know what this could be caused by, please let me know. thanks

try using OEM plugs instead, they'll work better.

There's your problem right there. Use ONLY Bosch Supers in the M20.

Those plugs are just gimmicks. The best performance plug is still the Bosch Supers.

I have been running the same set of Bosch Platinum +4's for roughly 5 years. I've never had a problem with them and my car has 260,000 miles on it.

You haven't changed your spark plugs in 5 years?

Not that I recall. I don't really have any running problems, but I probably should replace them anyway.

You may not have any obvious running problems, but I can almost gaurantee you that your car will run BETTER if you replace those plugs ASAP.

                          Any sign of oil?

You could have bad valve seals, I was running cheapest autozone plugs and they were alright, noticed nothing when I changed it to original Bosch's from stealer, I'm asking about oil because you could have bad valve seals which are causing the problem you have right now.

To have it replaced, you're going to have to pull the head out, camshaft, two bar, clips, rocker arms, springs, and when you'll see the little rubber piece on each valve with little spring ring around it, thats valve seals, if it's cracked or hard, there is your problem with spark plugs.
