I think you are confused. A 5mm spacer makes ET10, with a 16x9" rim that is going to stick a couple inches outside the fender. -
Yeah. E30s like an offset in the 25-27mm range.Originally posted by DigitalwaveI think you are confused. The rears need a 5mm, and run a 225 (if you want the Euro look and don't want serious fender work).
An offset of ET15 + 5mm spacer = ET10. The rim is going to stick 15-17mm further out than your average wheel, or almost an inch further than your normal wheel and tire combo.
Understand?

any ricer shop doesn't have longer lugs though
some of them have various lug nuts, but noone has longer lug bolts
and yes, i meant hubcentric ring not hubcentric spacer. but I was wondering if a spacer would be needed for either of the wheels, alsoOriginally posted by bluntcan you get me a deal on cases of their (fiji) bottled water? i wash my 02 in that shitComment

And it needs to. Do you really think a 9" wide wheel will fit in the well?Originally posted by DigitalwaveI think you are confused. A 5mm spacer makes ET10, with a 16x9" rim that is going to stick a couple inches outside the fender.
You have a poor understanding of rim width and offset. If the rim is 7.5" wide it will fit fine with a offset of 25. If a rim is 1.5" wider, it is wider in BOTH DIRECTIONS. If the offset is not lower, the wheel and the inside of the wheel well will be trying to occupy the same spot in reality.Originally posted by e30MattYeah. E30s like an offset in the 25-27mm range.

The "25-27" rule only applies to 7.5" wide wheels. For example, a 7" wheel looks better with 20 (the wheel is smaller, it needs to and can be pushed out further).Comment

what should I get up front for the 7.5" rims. will 215s fit, or will I have to go 205?
