I hate the fact that mine retracts up everytime I listen to a cd/radio. Which ones are you guys using?

Kishq has one, I put in the z3 antenna on Nina. Works great and easy mod. There is a great DIY on e30tech. someone cross linked it here.sigpic

I'd rather listen to the annoying noise of the antenna going up and down than look at that beast. The one they are talking about is on the z3 and on the mini and a bunch of cars, nice and easy to install and I get better reception from it.Originally posted by kenika65 View PostComment

Just wire up a switch to the antenna and use a euro fog switch to control it. Of course, the antenna still has to go up to listen to the radio, but not for CD or Ipod.Comment
