Precision stripping and powdercoating in lodi Ca. I have had a few vehicles stripped there and they do a great job. I actually used to own a media blasting company. I would not recommend using soda. Too many issues with it. There are plenty of different medias which can be substituted.

I choose to replace #3 and #4 gaskets with the thicker weatherstripping
strips. The OEM stuff was too thin. The stuff I used was nice and thick which created a nice seal.

At first I was confused why someone with your attention to detail would use a non-OE option, but that makes sense.

Crushed glass or anything a competent blaster would recommend.

I love what you have done with this project. Would you happen to have a part # list for all the bolts? Thanks

Sorry, been kind of busy with some real estate stuff. We have made alot of progress thought. Ended up squeezing a hydroboost w/ strange engineering brake master on the firewall, brand new fuel system front to rear (new tank, aeromotive 340 pump, stainless lines), new Monster clutch, release bearing/slave, aluminum radiator. Ill update progress soon.

LSM3 -- When you put in the ls2 water pump with the smaller pully what did you do to align it with the alt., power steering, and crank pullies? Did you use spacers t the gasket? Hw much space did you gain?

I grinded down the shaft on the pulley, pulled it out then rewelded it.
