Dang wonder what the story was behind that one besides obvious rollover?

No clue but it has a few mods so most thinking it might be known on S14.net Not listed on the M registry page either

C-pillars actually don't look bad. Would be interested to see it on an alignment rack and figure out if there's serious frame damage or not. Glass broken is definitely sad.

                      I hope so
I'd be a shame if the car gets crushed

So many useful parts on it

That would depend on the owner. Cars always go to auction, doesn't mean it will get crushed, or even parted. When a vehicle is total loss, it goes to auction to set a price, the owner has first chance to buy the car back. This happened to my old car. Car went to auction, the insurance contacted me with the highest bid - I had the option to buy it back at that price and I did. The title now is a Certificate Of Destruction (can never be registered again), but it is still the legal title and transferable. Kept it since a frame rail, radiator support and fender got bent, it's going on a frame machine and caged for a track car.

This looks a bit worse than when the PO rolled my M3 shell (no damage past the B pillar,) but the frame is still straight. He had the roof pulled out straight so the doors and windows line up, it is just all dented from the dent puller.

I'm probably going to re-roof it or get it re-roofed from a non-M parts car someday down the road. But that car seriously looks like it could be fixed if it is still straight. (title issues aside)

ugh, that would be nice, but with house renos/garage and 2 other e30 projects, it'll be long gone before I get time or money for it.
