Spring rates and sizes on your E30's

I just wanted to post and ask about what spring rates and suspension everyone is running. I just got my 15x8+25 wheels put on my E30 but now i have some atrocious wheel gap I'm trying to get rid of (just look at my pic of the rear) and so i wanted to know what springs you have or reccomend for getting the rear pretty low. I don't want flush bc i need to be able to drive but about an inch or two of wheel gap is fine. the front has ground control bread and butter kit coilovers, and i can get the front flush if I tried. Please throw out some recommendations for my suspension.

Wheel/Tire Specs: Square setup, 15x8 et25 with 195/45 tires all around

Reality is 195/45 are too small....205 55 r15 are oem size. 195/45 is almost 2" smaller on diameter according to the tyre sizing website.

A better easy to use tyre size calculator. Use our tyre size calculator to find tyre diameter, width, sidewall, circumference, and revolutions per mile.

You can get away with 205 50 r15 (3% less diameter) as its more common in higher performance tyres. but in some tyres even they look a bit small.

but even all of these are a bit small on an 8". here is a thread all about that,

    225 45 R15 seems like a popular choice. chunky.

post number 48 - red car. delicious.

I am looking more about spring rates. I know my tire size, i wanted a thin and stretched fitment hence why I chose this. I just wanted to know about springs in the rear to get it lower than it already was because a 3 inch wheel gap is a little rough to look at XD

        agree with the wrong tires.

you can run a lowering spring. it'll torture the car with such a small amount of sidewall and ride like a rock.

Are you just trying to lower the car or do you car any about how it handles after that?

I care a little how it handles but i am used to super stiff cars and stretched tires a little. I get you guys say "wrong tires" but it's the look i like and want. it doesn't feel bad at all on the driving if i'm being honest. I just want to get the rear lower, I have ground control adjustable spring perched on the rear but they're not able to go any lower so I wanted to see what springs might be a good idea. I don't know much about springs or spring rates and such. I don't plan on changing the tires becuase it's the look i like

If you just want to get low cheap: https://raceland.com/product/bmw-e30-coilovers/

I bought a car with a set of those, they work. But the ride is bouncy.

I was thinking about Ireland Engineering race springs but i don't know if they will fit on my current spring perch coilover thing. These wheels are a temp setup until i fix my 16 inch BBS'sn but I want it to be low anyways. Ill figure it out and ill checkout the raceland stuff. thanks :)
