As far as advice goes, they probably are, but they're not going to have near the spring stock that G-C has.

How are bimmerworld's prices compared to GC direct's?

Aaron - What is the height adjustability like with the 6" rears? Your height looks nice in your sig, but how much could you go up or come down compared to where it is now?

I am about in the middle of the height adjusters. I could probably drop it another 1/2"-3/4" in the rear and a good 1"-1.25" in the front. Also, I am not sure, but if you use the GC camber plates in stead of the stock bearings, you can go even lower.

Aaron is right, the camber plates are much thinner than the stock bearings so the front will go down lower.

With the adjusters all the way down I'm guessing? Are you still running the same setup? Your car obviously isnt that crazy low now from what it looks like...

Can you post a pic of your car almost touching the fender lining?
                    I don't touch the lining...

I can go down like 1 turn :P

no... it wasn't driveable at that height.

my car is lower now then it is in my sig though... sig pic = eibach pro kit.

waiting for some parts from ground control for the rear... then i'll see about taking some dumped pictures.

anyone know if its normal for the shocks to stay compressed and holding up the suspension after fully dropping the car? it was a bitch getting the car back up to a normal height since the shocks held...... thats y i'm kinda leary about doing it again for pics.

Mine does that. Aren't the shocks alot shorter? I always thought thats why

Jesus christ, Dale is a fucking dickhead. I called him and told him I wanted to run 450/600's with 6" springs all around, and he told me that I would be best off with 375/475's with a 5.5" rear spring. I told him that I had talked to someone there (at GC) the day before, who told me to run 450/625's. He then stated getting defensive and argumentative on me.. when I was completely calm. At one point, he told me to order my kit from one of GC's distributors.

I really dont know what to do at this point... You guys with 375/475's, what do you think of the setup? Im just hearing a shitload of contradicting infomation (even from GC itself), and I dont want to lay down $1500 without knowing Im buying the spring rates and sizes I'm going to be happy with. :x

I would never consider supporting the company after that sort of treatment.

                                How about some KW's?
