    Best MC With Stock Brakes

After driving my car for the 1st time in awhile for repairs/upgrades I discovered my master cylinder is failing. Needs to be replaced since rebuild kits apparently aren't a thing, which I find crazy.

I've read about the brake bias issue introduced with the popular 25mm master cylinder upgrade. I would prefer to not change the brake bias of my car.

Do I have to cough up almost 4 bills for an ATE stock style master? Or is the Uro one alright? There are a few other cheap brands out there, and seemingly no rebuild kits for my stock one. My car has ABS if that matters.

i'm not thrilled with the brakes on mine either. i would stick with oe suppliers. uro in particular has a horrible rep. i would never trust a wear part with that brand. i've had to modify a couple static parts to make them acceptable.

I was afraid of that. I guess I'll get an ATE unit

e90 booster and M/C not direct fit but worth the effort IMO

Right now I need to get/keep the car moving. If someone were to post more information on that swap, it would be something to think about in the future. I ordered an ATE MC.
