    Best Stainless Steel Brakelines?

What are the best stainless steel brake lines to buy?

I was going to get Turner Motorsport lines, but I was looking for other's input.

    Thanks!

I've got the Ireland Engineering SS lines. They were fairly inexpensive, $75 for all six, and I've been very happy with them so far.

Yes, but aren't the DOT approved ones better?

or, that's what I was thinking, anyway. The Turner Motorsport ones are DOT approved, and are only $100.

Then there's Stop-Tech Stainless Steel Brakelines, that I read about in this thread: http://www.r3vlimited.com/phpBB2/vie...h&start=15

The Stop-Tech ones SEEM to be cheap...not sure if I'd trust them.

          What do you all think?

the ireland ones don't have teflon coating on the outside. but mine are 2 years old with 25,000 miles and they're still fine. just bled them a week ago! not DOT approved though.

I have the IE ones. Got a great price on them.
I think they're great, do what they are supposed to do, and I've had no problems with them.

I think the Teflon coating is a bunch of BS. Nothing should be rubbing on your lines in the first place.

Anyways, I think that as long as you buy from a reputable company you'll be alright.

Goodrich SS brake lines are very good.....providing you want to pay their premium. Typically they go for over $100 for a set.

There are many good offerings for less. Some are DOT approved and others aren't. The ones that are cost a bit more.

DOT approved lines. $100. Not bad...for a shipped price.

                              D.O.T. approval in critical
some of the ones that i have looked at were 2 piece and some were 4
but I know the ones BMP design sells are both 6 and that only one of theirs is DOT approved.
