I threaded a hack saw through my old ones and cut them out, then used a big bench vice and some oil to get the M3 CABs back in.
The vice was not very happy. Wound up bending the handle about 90 degrees cranking down on it. It was kind of an old POS though.
insert the handle inside a piece of long pipe like from a floor jack could help give you leverage.

Just put in M3 bushings in my girl's 88is using a vise. Cut out the old ones with a reciprocating saw. Cleaned up the mount with some sand paper to smooth it out and put a good amount of grease on the bushing and on the mount and pressed it in with the vise. Had to make sure the bushing was going in straight but it went in without too much force and I also used an extension handle on the vise but overall it was an easy method with no damage to parts.
Did this without removing the control arms from the car. I just used a small puller to pull the old bushing off the control arm. The hardest part was getting the new bushing on the control arm but with some soapy water and brute force the entire job was less than 2 hours total.

Forgot to add that to get the bushing centered in the lollipop I used a circular spacer from my harbor freight wheel bearing kit just larger in diameter than the bushing to press the bushing so it was even on both sides.
