IE makes them, they are great quality. I have them on my car. -
Whats the major benefits of haveing the stainless lines? Besides the obvious like rust formation. Is it worth buying these and installing them on my car? Or should i save my money? I guess these are one of those things you upgrade to when your existing ones become trash?Comment

SS lines have stainless braids around the outside of the hose so there is no flex in the hose when you stomp on the brakes. It gives you a firmer pedal feel.Comment

Lot's of SS Brake Lines are dot-spec, but maybe not DOT-approved. I've read chatter in other boards that you shouldn't buy some unless it's dot approved. Don't know how important it is, it might just be marketing hype by the manufacturers. Don't know why everyone isn't dot approved. Anyone know?Comment

Also, it's good to point out that you want some form of coating over the braiding... dirt gets trapped under the braids when exposed and the braids actually trap the dirt and grind it through the teflon lining... brake failure can, and has, resulted.
-Dannever enough money...
