Not bending/breaking them. Becomes more of an issue on cars with big sticky tires, stiff suspension (especially if you're using a true rear coilover setup), and lots of torque.

Interesting. I'm going to do all my bushings and install a GC kit on my 325is this spring. Is it worth it for a dd/weekend autocrosser? I'm already having a machine shop section my housings, wouldn't be anything to have them do the arms too.

Well, BMW put reinforcements on the M Coupe trailing arms, I'm guessing they did it for a reason. I've never experienced or seen a failure, but still plan to reinforce my arms.
