    Mini Calipers and Rotors

Tell me what you know about fitting the calipers and rotors on our cars. Is the spacing in the back for the caliper bolts the same?

As far as I know, all of the calipers (non-M3) should mount the same. Not sure about the ix though...

EDIT: Ignore my post, I misunderstood what you were asking.

Mini Cooper bakes are TINY man, the rear also doesn't have a internal ebrake. it has a ratcheting caliper.

Yea am asking about the front brakes only. The stock setup is tiny but I am looking at a Front BBK for the Mini. It mounts to the factory locations and has larger rotor.

Am I the only one that is missing the big picture here? Why would you buy a Mini BBK when they make 4x100 BBK's specifically for E30's? They can't be that much more expensive.

Yeah. Get yourself a IE BBK at wholesale. I think the the wholesale on the 330x28mm kit is like $750.

              I don't want Cobra calipers.
The Kit is used and a friend has offerd it to me for a really good price. I will only buy it though if its a direct fit, if not then I will just continue with my 4 piston willwood setup.

The kit has a 4 piston AP Caliper and 304x24 rotors.
To piece together a 4 piston brake kit will cost $500 more and that is useing willwood calipers. This is has AP racing calipers and if its a direct bolt on then I would rather to this than mess with brackets etc.

I'd put money on it that it's not bolt on and would take quite a bit of modification to fit.
