I have hawk hps pads now, but they do not keep the rear discs clean. It may be time for a change. I want lower dust pads. Are the hawk ceramics ok? Other suggestions? Part of me just wants to run down to advance and get a basic pad. I have read enough to go blind and still not sure what pad is best for the street and does not dust like crazy. What about the axxis ultimates? Thanks.

if hps are too much dust then the OP wont like stock/oem brakes, clearly braking function is not the No1 priority for brakes?89 E30 325is Lachs Silber - currently M20B31, M20B33 in the works, stroked to the hilt...

their stopping characteristics include mushy pedal feel, not being able to lock up the brakes/activate ABS, zero cold bite, and melting after 3 laps on the track.1989 325iC Zinnoberrot

Strange
I've heard nothing but good things from people running HPS (NOT HP Plus). I have some sitting in my room for my next brake service.
I've heard they tend not to run super fantastic cold, but nothing overly dramatic and always heard people say they were a decent upgrade over stock and had relatively lower dust than some pads out there
Guess I just have to see for myself
