    Brakes feel weak

My brakes don't really feel like they have much stopping power at all. The pads and rotors are almost new. Do I need a brake flush. Can a brake flush fix this problem

It would be my next step. In fact, I'm having the same issue and it is my next step.

It's worrying me. I'm going to see if I can get it done in the next few days

Did you check your reservoir for brake fluid? Mine started doing the same thing and it ended up being a leaking master brake cylinder.

New fluid and bleed the air out.

          Presto change-o

Also, inspect the lines and master cylinder for leaks.

not to thread jack, but mine when applying the brakes the peddle is soft and goes way down but when i take my foot off and reapply, i have plenty of peddle. could this also be old fluid causing this?

I think you've got air in your system

I had this issue with a soft peddle first pump, and it turned out to be worn caliper guide bushings. When I would hit the brakes, the caliper would twist slightly and then sit a little farther back from the rotor. After braking the first time(soft) it would need to take up that extra space. Second pump was fine.

I've had three causes that acted similar ...

                  1) Air in the system - like others have said bleed 'em and bleed 'em again to make sure all the air is out.

                  2) Master cylinder seals bypassing. More commonly this causes the pedal to continue to go to the floor slowly when held down, but it can be erratic.

                  3) If the engine speed changes or the idle is erratic, the amount of vacuum going to the booster changes and might make the pedal feel differently at times.

when you put new pads and discs this effect seems to reduce hence the pedal feel improves noticably. i need to do the same refresh of brakes....

You could also try deglazing your brake pads.
