Is the Rear subframe between coupe & sedan the same?

Google wasn't able to aid me here..

Is the Rear subframe out of a coupe & sedan the same? No difference there? Are IX cars the only ones with unique rear subframe (if even?)? Realoem seems to suggested different part numbers.

Coupe, sedan, vert.... they're all the same. I've heard the reason that the ix's part number might be different is because when you buy a new subframe from BMW it comes with bushings already pressed in, and ix rear subframe bushings are different.

As soon as someone can confirm I'm buying a subframe from garagistic, especially since you can use rwd bushings on lowered iXs

Unless superseded, Pn's are differrent for a reason. The M3 subframe has brackets to suspend the exhaust.

Well the ix uses the same cat back exhaust, same half shafts, same diff (basically), same diff cover, same trailing arms, same brakes (minus rotors for offset), and everything else. The only thing thats different is the subframe bushings, diff bushing, hubs, rotors, and the fact it uses a viscous limited slip diff. I really can't see why the subframe would be a different design for the ix vs the i. Like I said I remember reading somewhere that new OE subframes from the dealership come with bushings already pressed in so that has the be why its a different part number.

All the subframes are the same. Only difference on E30 m3s is exhaust hanger configuration.

ix subframe is the same. the factory part # is different because it comes with the bushings, which are unique to the ix.
