lol, i actually had an eBay set, which lasted almost 2 years, then front passenger side started leaking. Had IE lines after that, and they were great, until car crashed. Going to buy another set soon.

I have a set from Pelicanparts from Troutman or something like that. Quality seems good, and they don't leak yet, but they have only been on the car for a few weeks.

        they're really, really nice.

I don't think I'd trust cheaper lines in a track situation, but if you want to rock made in china IE parts, go ahead. ;)

clavinzero gives a "+1" to the bimmerworld lines. DOT approved and all! (I am running them now.)

I have a set of Goodridges on my Corvette - been there for 10 years now, no problems.

I could be wrong, but all the goodrich line sets I've seen for E30s are only 4 peices, so you're still leaving the inner rears as OEM rubber. that pretty much defeats the purpose of using SS..

                  That's a shame, I really like their quality. :(

Are there any report/examples of IE stainless brake lines failing?

I have the ones Blueapplesoda was selling and they are pretty good. I'll find out thursday at Hockenheim how good they are.

Agreed on the Bimmerworld lines. I have had them for awhile now.

I have had the UUC on my car already 9 months and they are great. Also have great customer service in case something is wrong. They get my vote, not the cheapest, but great quality...at least my .02. On my e28 m5, I have earls, and one of them leaked after a year. I had it replaced, but has to pay for it. At least I was able to get just that one.
