Just checking on how to adjust rear Koni SA

how much do you have to compress them. I tried but got no clicking.....

not in the rear. I was pretty damn sure the -/+ thing, but my real question was about how compressed it needs to be.

I have the same problem. I've compressed them fully with no bump stop, but felt no clicking. I think I'm going to try it again with then in the car.

            Compress what?

EDIT: Ahh, never mind. You have the ones that are not adjustable from the top right?

when adjusting those konis, you have to take the rubber bumper, and the the plastic thin spacer(bumper thing) out also. then you press them all the way together(its not that hard) and turn them. Im almost possitive that clockwise makes them harder. I have mine set as hard as they will go and then backed em off 3/4 of a turn. feels really comfortable to me.

All I have even seen is a white plastic ring, is there an actual rubber bumper?

they have arrows on them, + and -

the bumpstop is in the top of the housing, you have to push it out through the two holes on the top, or try to get a hook in there from the bottom.

I left my bumpstops out, there's no way I'll ever hit them and now I don't have to remove the shocks to adjust them.

Wow, I feel so dumb for knowing that now. I guess I know what I was doing wrong all along.

ive never needed to compress the rear to adjust them. all i do is take out the bolt at the bottom of the shock, slide the plastic boot down, press the button, grab the bottom end of the shock and turn.

what kind of konis do you have? SA or DA? all the one's I've seen need to be compressed to adjust them, but they've all been SA.

i have SA's with 3 damping settings in the rear. I'm positive ive heard of other people on this forum who have the same shocks as I do, but i guess they arent as common as i thought.
