I used the stock gland nut with no problems.
I think I cut my housings 1.5 inches and I used a 3 inch spacer.
I will know for sure tomorrow when my new Konis arrive. I have to make up a new set of housings for my bags anyways..

Yeah, let me know! I'm looking in to the same setup. Do you know if they bolt up to the normal koni GC camber plates? Also what did you use for your spacer?

I used a piece of 1/4 inch thick pipe. Im also using them with the same ground control camber plates that I used on my bilie sports.

Call ground control with the numbers on the springs. They will know.

The rate is in the part number. They read (length).(diameter).(rate)

                ex. 0600.250.650 would be a 6" tall, 2.5" diameter 650lb spring.

since we are talking about shock travel...I think I have too much in the rear.

I'm running bilstein sports and they droop waaay too much. This allows the spring to fall off the perch when I lift the car. I have heard that the koni's that GC uses for the rear does not have this issue!?!? Does anyone have the koni part number of their GC kit?

Has anyone ever had Bilsteins shortened? My rear bilsteins also feel much softer in the rear than the front. Is this normal?

                      Cheers,
                      Chris

Whaaa? How did "ovaling out the hole" give you more strut travel? I'm missing something here.

I might be able to find the receipt with the spring rates, if not, I gotta jack up the car and look.

But that sounds pretty close. Is that considered soft?

I still haven't gotten around to call GC so see what the rates are. I may pass on the shortened struts as I don't need the front as low now. I would still like to put a little stiffer spring on there though.

Just get the numbers off your springs and enter them into the search bar on GC's site. No need to call.
