1987 325e w/plastic bumper swap
(early wheel arches, don't let the bumpers fool you).
Suspension:
German Engineering coilovers on 1" shortened front strut housing with:
5" 450# front/4.5" 650# rear springs
mr2 KYB AGX front shocks
Camaro KYB AGB rear shocks
Front adjusters are all the way up, rears are exactly half height (with spring pads in place)
Wheels:
16x7 25mm offset wheels, 5mm spacers in rear
Alignment:
Stock upper strut mounts and m3 offset CAB's. All stock rubber bushings.

Need to know how much is sectioned off too!
I'm sure you can get some gap in there though.
With my 3" sectioned housings and a 7" spring, I can only manage to get a pinky-finger of wheel gap with ms 16x9 215/45's at full height.
My shocks "top out" preventing me to go higher.Leave a comment:

how "high" does the GC coilover kit go with the GC shortened struts housings in terms of centre of wheel to fender dimension and then at full low whats the centre of wheel to fender dims? as high as eibach prokit and H&R sports?Last edited by digger; 06-01-2014, 01:57 AM.Leave a comment:

I don't have a lot of piks of the new setup, the ride height is pretty much the same execpt I can drop the front completely on the floor and still have shock travel. To give you an idea I can still drop 2 inches more on the following pictures. Camber/caster adjustment on the front, camber/toe correction in the back due to the 12mm subframe raise.

550 lb spring front/750 lb rear
GC camber/caster plate
XXR 531, 15x8 ET0
The camber plates were not installed on the picture and was running old billies sport with stock lenght housing

I've looked all over for the setup I am putting together and have yet to find it. I am hopeful it will turn out well! Here is what my setup will be:
1991 318is
Suspension: Lowtec 60/50 springs (no front pads) with GC Touring camber plates (which provide 12mm additional drop)
Wheels: ESM 004 17x8 et20 with 215/40r17 rubber
