No need to lyao. One end of the spring has a "dead coil" that is designed to bottom against itself. The other end does not have the dead coil. Removing portions of the spring from either end has different effects on drop. It is not the same as removing one coil - and even then, "removing one coil" has a different effect based on which end you choose to remove.Last edited by Lof8; 05-26-2011, 09:54 AM.S50'd

Just to chime in, I have the GC coilover kit(450lbs/in front 700lbs/in rear), Bilstein dampers with 1 inch cut off the bumpstop. In my sig(and other recent pics) I'm all the way down in the front(no adjustable perch either) and about 2/3 down in the rear. Now here's the problem, the Bilstein's are not built for that high a spring rate and soon blow out(mine blew within a month). So if you get the GC coilover kit, you'll definitly need to get the shortened Koni shocks. And since you're looking to slam the car, you(like me) will need to weld the GC spring perches on to go any lower than I am right now.Comment
