Also, are these hr sports the ix version or the non-ix version? That would definitely make a difference

so after taking the front springs out and comparing the e90 hats to the ix ones, the ix strut mount will is to wide and wont fit down inside the e90 spring hat. it rests on the outer edge of the strut mount. the regular e30 will fit down inside it. So the e90 hat swap only works on non ix e30's. So i just took the rubbers out for now and let it ride till i can get some coilovers. I just hate to cut the springs.

And the springs are for an ix not a regulat e30.

OP that doesnt look right, do you have a lot of weight in the rear? the front looks stock...if I were you I wouyld sell those springs and either go back to stock or get H&R OE springs and enjoy having an IX

Why are you against spacing up the rear? looks to be your only option here, I did this w my race springs by installing a bunch of plastic spacers and both spring pads and it looks sick, I have like a forward rake.

For the last time, drop hats do NOT work on an ix!

Do you still have trunk tar? The '88 has like a 1" thick slab. Also if you have the original steel spare, its heavy as hell.

          Bushings new or original?

It should sit pretty level but its obviously not.

Yeah i know this now after i already bought some and they didnt work. That would have been great info last week lol. Oh well they were cheap and im sure someone will buy them.

The trunk tar is still in and the spare is not in the car. The rear has all brand new bushings and the car has new front and rear bilstien HD's. The rear has a camber kit as well. I have no idea why it won't sit level. This is the first and last time i will ever buy anything H&R again. I guess its coil over time but not until i get my turbo 7 finished.

maybe it's the bilsteins? did you cut the internal bump stop up front?

here's mine on H&Rs with konis. This is with 1 rear spring pad removed..

your front as it was said before, looks totally stock.

that slab in the rear probably weighs 60lbs. They didn't put it on late ix's.

there is no front bump stop at all. I just can't figure out why it sits so high. I've used other bilstine hd and they never set like that. i hate that mine doesnt sit like that. AHHHHH!!! i guess this is as good as its gona get
