    What dust boots for coilovers?

The stock dust boots I get with bilstein sports don't fit nicely inside typical 2.5" coilover springs. What do people typically do for dust boots? Is there a common alternative? I'd rather not run without.

That's a good question, I figured there wasn't one. most of the coilovers I have seen don't run any....

I have yet to find one that fits well, there are some that almost do it properly but get hung up just a little on the spring ID.

      EDIT. found one.

motto cross shock boots thats what i did when my new rear shocks didn't come with dust boots. thar should be a set skinny enough to fit in to 2.5in springs. just cut it down the right length zip tie in place. DONE

They are from bilstein. I'll be ordering more soon.

I reused my OEM dust boots over the rear shocks. Cut them off the old shocksand used a ziptie to secure them on the new ones. Konis are slightly smaller diameter so they overlapped a bit.

I picked up some dernier nylon and Velcro to make covers for my adjusters. I'll post a thread eventually once I get them made up.

Do people reuse OEM rear shock boots for Koni SA and poly RSM? ones i got are 12mm thread shaft

ive seen some cars that look like they dont use a boot at all ?

EDIT: incase others wanted to know you can indeed enlarge the 10mm hole in the stock ones to 12mm and use the original boots.......
