Havent had ps for a few years, ive had 195s, 225s, and now 255. I don't recommend 255s for the faint hearted. Its really not that bad, but I wouldnt do it to a DD.

I say keep it, unless you are racing competitively. You don't need those accessories when racing. And parallel parking without power steering sucks.

Its pretty hard to break stock PS, just keep it, no point in removing.

Had mine off for a few years now. It is much harder to park and maneuver at low speeds but it's not that bad. Feels fantastic when blasting around on some back roads.

That sir is what we call here a "hack job" so don't talk about it to much. My car came loaded with everything but ABS so deleting PS and AC didn't hurt my feelings at all. Not to mention my car is daily driven, it just feels so natural. Besides there's just something about how the wheel auto corrects its self in slides that makes me grin, it's just so beautiful.

My old civic didn't have PS, the PO called it the bicep builder. I just pumped the tires up and it drove like it had PS, even parking and stuff was easy. I think it was running 185s. I've also had to move broken down shitter old trucks and they're almost impossible to turn without being moving.

I've got a buddy who's on his 3rd E30 and never had PS in any, it's hard to drive on stock ish tires the first time but you get used to that quickly imo. The weight, parasitic loss removal and complete connection would make it worth it for me if I didn't like drifting my car so much, and if I was like him and only wanted it for it's rawness and no messing about driving I would take my PS out 10 times out of 10. Buying such an old raw light car it only makes sense to go all out with it. Only con I've experienced is that it's harder to save the hairier slides in his, and maybe that's me needing to do so more forearm workouts because some say it's easier.

E46 steering rack, 350mm Momo Prototipo and 15x8 et15 with 205/55. Never had an issue. Easy enough to one hand it out of a parking lot with a drink in my hand.

You're probably aware but thought I'd say it anyway; Failed power steering and properly deleted power steering are two entirely different things.

My 84 Rabbit had 175/70/13's and was pretty easy to get around with manual steering.
I'd hate to try that with my e30 with the 205's on 16's. Not too hard, but why remove something that's not broken?

I dont think the kiddies today could handle stick with no PS while texting
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

I had no PS on a z3 2.7ltl rack in my 318is. It wasn't bad at all. Im probably going to install that rack in my current Edirty while I m30 swap/restore it. Im hoping the extra weight up front doesn't make it fkn impossible to steer.
