    First things to go would be the tabs on the trailing arms. They usually shear in compression. That's the minimum reinforcement to do. You double or tripple the thickness. Then you may need to reinforce the mounting points under the trunk, where the bushings shells are bolted. Ireland's kit is great, or you can simply add another layer from the back. No need to drill inside the trunk.
