    What are the best swaybars??

Ive been trying to decide between eibach, racing dynamics, and suspension techniques. What are the differences and also the strong points of each. thanks.

i know nothing of those mentioned. I bought IE's 25mm front bar set, but had him ship me the smaller, 19mm, rear bar for a more balanced setup. the 22 is too big

I have heard good stuff about Ireland Engineering sway bars and from what i have gathered they have the some of the largest available 25mm(hollow) front 22mm(adjustable) rear. I personally do not have them but have heard good things about them.

ST rear bar is a difficult install. It is made just a shade too narrow at the bends and really takes some muscle to get it in the mounts.

IE bars are very nice. Buy them from Flying Brick and they will be less expensive and you won't have to deal with IE's marginal customer service.

The fronts are easy, just bolt them in.

The rears are a bit more work. The first challenge is working the bar in and that's easier if you remove the shock and spring on one side. The next challenge is in locating the holes through the trunk floor for the reinforced bushing mounts. I made a needle punch by grinding down a spare bolt and used that from underneath to punch a pilot hole and then drilled from the top.

It is essential that you weld in reinforcements for the tabs on the trailing arms. A triangulated reinforcement is just about required (like what Turner sells) to keep from bending the tabs.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

What he said. Time consuming, but not hard. The IE stuff fits really well. The tabs for the lower control arm need to be welded on but it's a simple weld anyone can do.

rear m3 bar is 14 mm

                          stock 325is is 13.5mm

                          stock 325i is 12mm

I'm not really sure about the accuracy of these though.

I have H&R's. Love them. :) 22 in front, and 19 out back. Both adjustable.
