The back end sits kinda high with the adjustable perches imo. I would just have a adapter plate machined for your springs. That would make things considerable cheaper.
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

The feeds and speeds are way cranked up for mass production. The quality of the steel itself is suspect too. You can see on the inside where the metal is smeared from blown out tooling, lack of coolant, too fast of a feed rate. And the threads, look at all the porosity in the threads.
Agreed x1000000. Those threads are so torn up. They should be glossy smooth. And I'm pretty sure that is aluminum, not steel. Hard to tell from the picture though. The round washer looking thing is definitely aluminum.

Man, the things I could make if I had the tools...

or you could just order shorter springs and keep your adjust-a-bility.

        just a thought

That rear design is NOT safe of matter what you do. The only way you could make that work is if you limit rear shock travel. Reinforcing tower is a given, but flipping the shock upside down, and cutting piston short would be what you'd want to do. If you do that, you may as well redesign rear suspension or get e28.
those are NOT ground control adjusters - if ground control made shit like that, I doubt as many people would be running them.

you can. its amazing! go to gc's website, search for perches. if you cant find them (because they sell perches alone for other cars) give them a call and make it work. everything has a price!

Not quite standard though. They were Bilstein E36 Group N shocks, with a machined sleeve fitted.

They use a 60mm id spring...

Now if only the buggers fitted inside the rear wheel well... oh well Guess nothing some new sheetmetal can't fix (aka, making new top mounts and shock tunnels.
