    of course I get it. a 10mm spacer would put him at ET28. my wheels are ET24, and it barely rubs even with 3 adults in the car. ET38 would have miles of fender clearance, ET28 (1ith a 10mm spacer) would be fine.

    he's not going to rub the fender (or the strut) either way.. but if he wants to run a wider tire, he won't need the spacers.

      get yourself of 17x7.5 kosei k1's with a 35mm offset. It will be nice and aggressive. i can't seem to remember what offset my wheels are et38 i think.

        Just for reference, 205/50-16 is only .1" oversized. 215/45-16 is more undersized than the former is oversized. It will not cause rubbing, because 205 is a skinny tire and the added dimension is vertically, and you aren't going to be rubbing on the top of the fender liners.
