Andre those are the most absurd RS's I've ever seen good gravy.
As for my choice of all those expensive wheels, I say get what you want, but if you want my opinion on which, I say get the BBS RGR's. They come in 17", and I think 17" is the biggest anyone should go on an E30 (non M3), and they're super light and hot. I'll do a photoshop of them on your car later.
*EDIT* Here you go. Yea they're 5 lug but you know they come on 4 lug and fit E30's and all. And with the money you save not buying HRE's you could possibly get a 5 lug suspension!
Those RGRs look fucking sick! But if you're going to burn $5500 on wheels, why not do the 5-lug swap and get some real alpinas.. or the God of all wheels:  The BBS LM!!!

I keep telling you guys, if you're gonna spend that cash: http://www.fikse.com/ is the only way to go.
I say listne to M42Tecknik, those RGRs are badass. Those HRE's just don't like good on e30s, period.
The name's Dan, and yea HRE's are not made for E30's. If you wanted something to really REALLY set you apart, get these....
Old school Borbet B's. They're 16x9 though, but they fit without issues in the rear, you'd need to roll the front fender a bit. But still hot and gives me an reason to put them on your car. Only in Germany, but cheaper than HRE's!
And I do agree on Fikse wheels, they are made for your car in any pattern and size. I once asked from a guy I knew how much these would cost and he said:

Hello, you're looking at $653 for the FM10 and $687 for the Profil 10. That includes the extra $50 for the black centers. Retail Price on them is $759 and $799 respectively. Let me know if youre still interested and I can set it up for you.
So there you go if you want e-mail him saying you heard he can get you Fikse's for cheap and ask for what you want. I asked for 4x100 16x7 front, 16x7.5 rear, and polished aluminum and the extra $50 (each) for centers. And yes that price is for each wheel.
good p-choping on those Type B's which are SICK, i would have gotten them if i didnt get the A's
Should have! I've never seen those on an E30 in the states. Also, that's a great fender roll for the front of that blue one you posted, looks stock.
Maybe Jim should get those and some real good bodywork for rolling the front fender, that would stand out and look great. Nothing says slick like "custom bodywork".
Jim. Before you do all this stuff, go get your car appraised ASAP! You need to know what to expect when the worst happens..... If your insurance company will not cover your investment, you are better of simply stopping here and driving the car. Go to a drivers school next spring before you do the turbo. Try auto-x the car etc....the fun in cars is using them in many ways that you are able to put your skill and pit it against the car's ability. Having a nice looking car seems to be your priority but at this point you need to evaluate your options a lil bit more closer.. ;)

Jim, you gotta look into Vintage Car insurance. Companies specially insure restored cars with their added value. I saw it on Speed Channel for all the show cars, so maybe it would be good for you.
Erik: I'm going to look into the insurane. My parents pay my insurance but when I graduate college in may04 I'll be paying. I'm looking into classic insurance but your car has to be 25 years old to be a "classic". Classic insurance allows you to drive 2.5k miles a year. My dad's henna gray mkt euro 80' 320/6 and shara beige 73' 2002 both had classic insurance so I know this stuff.
I can't wait till my car is a classic. (Ive almost had my e30 for 8 years)
I plan on going to a driver's school in april..the turbo will happen in july.
I'm anxious to drive on the track
I've had my E30 for 8 years and it hasd seen track time sr. year of high school @ pocono where we had a bmw cca meeeting and everyone got a free run.
I can't wait for this upcoming year. It should be a good one.
P.S. Oh and yeah Thanks..I think the 545 rims do look the best on the E30. Wow.
Thanks for all the P shopping guys. 545 17" it is :D . Oh and big brakes: I'll go with the Alpina E30 big brake kit ( A part of my orig plan matter of fact..my post form almost 2 weeks ago was about the Alpina big brake kit) KSK sells it.. Ryan..you know what I'm talking about. I'm sure that kit will do the job well thats for sure.
I wouldn't spend 5k on wheels, but if you want to fo with the 545. They do look awesome. I take it you won't be autocrossing your car with those heavy assrims ;)
Oh, and Jordan made snide remarks when Chris Cab E30 metioned his brother being shot in the "Malvo" thread. I guess he has something against the deceased :?
