You really cleaned them up quite a bit. Like Nando said, they don't have to be perfect, no one is going to be close enough to tell the difference, but it looks like you're going to get them looking great.

Keep us posted on the pics. And permit's price isn't bad - that's what they go for...had I sold centers with these rims you would have paid $400 shipped :)

My e34 has teh better looking BBS wheels and the center caps look identical. Anyone know if there are teh same?

shit, i just tried some paint stripper my dad had and it worked fine on the clear coat but after that it didnt so much. Im going to try to find some better paint stripper tmr (anyone know of any?) and use that with the pressure washer to try to get it off.

I used some that comes in an airsol can, aircraft stripper. worked awesome. but you have to be sure to do it exactly as the directs say.

i think i twwas like $4 per can and I used about 1 can per wheel, dunno if it was necessary, but it worked.

"Dad's Easy Spray." We used it on my friend's front bumper. You spray it on and 10-15 seconds later all the paint just wrinkles up and wipes right off.

SO it wurth paint the paint to use? IM having a hard time finding it in gold, or a site that has both clear and gold. Does a primer need to be used?

I'd definitely use primer.

I never said nuthin' bout requiring ;)

It's just a better way to prep the wheel than just spraying the paint directly on them.

Bead blasting should work out nice.

I think the people that have rattlecanned thier rims didn't really use primer. Not sure what you wanna do though. They said they just let them cure for awhile.
