IMO 17's are pushing it, 18's would be way too big for a non M E30.

I'm going to end up with 17's running 215 40 on ESM 002 17x8.5, but I'm not going to like it. Really want that bbs/weave style wheel and there are 0 options at 18. :-(I want a nice set of smoked MHW's (I know, get it line)

I tend to think going too low on tire diameter looks silly too, but there is a threshold beyond which it doesnt matter. Don't forget, early etas came with 195/60r14s--23.2" total diameter. A bit shorter than 23.8" the other two are at.paint sucks
