I have discussed offset and tried to understand. I am looking at a set of wheels that are 15x7 with a ET35 offset. I think they will fit, but does anyone know for sure?
Will they fit?

My 15x8.5 are 33et...No rubbing, no spacers. 35et might be too close, but they may work without spacers...
Every day I wake up we drink a lot of coffee and watch the CNN

What's your point? They are also 14x6.5, completely unrelated.Originally posted by parkerbinkBasketweaves are 30
I honestly can't picture 15x7" Et35 fitting without rubbing the struts, but if it does fit, you will be stuck with 205 tires and it won't look very good.Comment

Offset is part of his question, Basketweaves have an offset of 30.
Ok?

Different rim sizes and widths need different offsets... that didn't help at all is all I am saying.Comment

Fair enough but it's not like I said I like pie.

You should be fine assuming you'll be using a 215 or less tire. I have run many times 17*7 et40 with 215/40/17 with NO strut tower rubbing but does rub inner well under very tight turns.Yes car is also lowered.Comment

Here is another example of useless info. 17" rims give you much more clearance than a 15". The higher up you go from the hub, the more space between the rim and the strut you have, given the same rim width and offset.Originally posted by nitro325isYou should be fine assuming you'll be using a 215 or less tire. Wrong! How is that more clearence if the rim itself is getting closer to the hub tower? Also overall Diameter puts it within fractions of stock combination. So again how is that more clearance? Please research or consult with the OG that was harsh but gave correct info.Originally posted by DigitalwaveHere is another example of useless info. 17" rims give you much more clearance than a 15". The strut angles in towards the car. The bigger the rim, the farther it is from the strut. I am not talking about the overall diameter, I am talking about the inside clearance of the rim.
